About the BSPD
The BSPD was founded in 1985 to promote for the public benefit the knowledge and teaching of paediatric dermatology. The BSPD is a registered charity (1011605).
Specifically the aims of the organisation are:
- To stimulate and promote appropriate medical and scientific research and to publish the results of such research
- To contribute to the education of trainees in dermatology and of scientific workers in the field of dermatology
- To arrange and provide for the holding of scientific meetings and symposia
- To raise funds
